This December, you are invited to record your walking, wheeling and cycling with BetterPoints for the chance to win one of 1,205 festive prizes. Not yet taking part? Download the free BetterPoints app from the App Store or Google Play - or scan the QR code below.
Once registered, you will start earning rewards straight away for walking, wheeling, running, cycling and using public transport. You can spend your rewards with high-street brands, participating local retailers or donate them to charity.
Give yourself 10 minutes every day
Getting the recommended 150 minutes of physical activity per week can be a challenge, especially in winter when there are fewer daylight hours and the weather's not so good. But just 75 minutes a week of walking, wheeling or cycling reduces body fat and blood pressure and improves heart health, fitness and sleep - as well as reducing the risk of heart disease, stroke and cancer.
So we're inviting BetterPoints members everywhere to give themselves at least ten minutes of physical activity every day this December. Every day you record ten minutes of walking, wheeling, cycling or running, you will enter the next day's draw to be one of 50 lucky winners of 500 BetterPoints.
Recording ten minutes of activity on two days each week will earn you an entry into our weekly draw to win 50,000 BetterPoints (£50) for yourself AND a £50 donation to the charity of your choice. So plan activity into your day to maximise your chances of winning!
Finally, two lucky winners will get 50,000 BetterPoints on Christmas Day for referring a friend to BetterPoints. Simply tap Menu, then More ways to earn and Refer a Friend to quickly send your unique referral code to your contacts. It's a Christmas present that's totally free to give and it could win you £50!
Whether you’re travelling sustainably or getting active for your health and wellbeing, enjoy a fun, festive countdown to Christmas with us - and maybe even win some prizes along the way!
