🏆 How does my school win a prize?
The Engagement Ranked Leaderboard
It's all about the number of parents, guardians and staff who take part, compared to the number of pupils on roll, as a percentage. So it is fair for everyone.
Encourage as many people as you can to sign up and join in!
For example:
SCHOOL 1 - Has 600 pupils and gets 150 signed up = That's 25%
SCHOOL 2 - Has 900 pupils and gets 150 signed up = That's almost 17%
SCHOOL 3 - Has 350 pupils and gets 150 signed up = That's almost 43% - so they would top the engagement leaderboard with the highest percentage.
At the end of the challenge, if your school is at the top of the engagement leaderboard, the following prizes will be awarded:
1st Prize - £500
2nd Prize - £250
3rd Prize - £150
All prizes can be spent on gardening, sports equipment, or resources to encourage active travel.
Increase your ENGAGEMENT rankings: invite parents and staff to the Newham Walk, Wheel and Win challenge, and share the code newhamwww so they can take part.
The Membership Leaderboard: The schools with the most sign-ups will win a Tennis taster day at their school, thanks to the National Tennis Association, and the runners-up will win a Rocket Padel taster session (to give to up to 25 pupils) thanks to Rocket Padel Beckton.
You can track your school’s progress on the leaderboard. Tap the 🏆 icon and see where your school is.
